Natural kinematics.

Single-radius design gives stability through every phase of flexion.

Stable range of motion.

A secure, highly conforming articulation through the full range of motion.

Validated outcomes.

95% patient satisfaction and 98.8% survivorship at 17 years, 25+ years in clinical use.

What it enhances.

The Evolution® Medial-Pivot Knee System addresses the limits of traditional implants with flexion stability, anatomic motion and a wear-limiting design. It is backed by over 25 years of clinical use and global registry data, and is straightforward to implant. For patients it means a knee that feels more like their own, with less pain, greater confidence and a faster return to the life they love.

Improved stability and validated outcomes

The Evolution® Medial-Pivot Knee System is built on a legacy of 95% patient satisfaction with 98.8% survivorship at 17 years, and features a design that enhances quadriceps efficiency, allowing for improved proprioception.

Natural kinematics

To achieve postoperative satisfaction, patients want their implant to deliver high functionality and a more natural feeling. The single-radius design of the Evolution® Knee System provides stability through all phases of flexion. Anterior-posterior translation is also decreased to help achieve a more normal feel. This is a dramatic advance over traditional knee replacements, which have been shown to exhibit anterior-posterior translation that can decrease stability and cause early revisions.

Stable range of motion

It is routine for patients to complain of instability following a traditional knee replacement, and studies clearly show instability to be the leading cause of early revisions. By delivering a more secure, highly conforming articulation, the Evolution® Medial-Pivot Knee System provides the kind of stability throughout the range of motion that patients seek.

Evolution® NitrX™ Knee System

The Evolution® NitrX™ Medial-Pivot Knee features a titanium niobium nitride (TiNbN) coating that has been shown to reduce the release of cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni) and molybdenum (Mo) ions common in standard CoCr implants. The Evolution® NitrX™ knee keeps the kinematic benefits and stability of the medial-pivot design.

In their words.

Dr Tom Barrett, Orthopedic Surgeon, George Mediclinic and Geneva Mediclinic Hospitals
They're able to move their knee in a very natural way. They're able to bend their knee more easily. They feel stable, comfortable and confident about mobilizing. The patients have come back with a more positive outcome.
