Vascular Graft Solutions
VEST™ externalvein graft support.
A kink-resistant cobalt chrome external stent for saphenous vein grafts in CABG.

Targets the cause.
Addresses disturbed flow and high wall tension, the mechanism behind vein graft disease.
Minutes to implant.
Fixation-free, no glue or sutures, without changing grafting technique.
Proven at 5 years.
The only technology to demonstrate mitigation of intimal hyperplasia 5 years after CABG.
What it enhances.
For patients undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery, long-term success depends on how well the vein graft holds up over time. VEST™ is a porous external support device placed around saphenous vein grafts during CABG. It keeps the graft's geometry, reduces vein wall stress and prevents vein graft dilation and intimal hyperplasia. Easy to use, sterile and available in a range of sizes, it integrates into the surgical workflow without adding complexity.

Why VEST?
VEST™ is a kink-resistant cobalt chrome external support which targets the underlying mechanism of vein graft disease: disturbed flow pattern and high wall tension. By providing the vein with arterial biomechanical properties, VEST™ prevents non-uniform dilation of the graft post-implantation, mitigates the formation of disturbed flow patterns and the subsequent development of intimal hyperplasia, creating a hybrid conduit that combines the benefits of venous and arterial grafts.
- Over 20% reduction in intimal hyperplasia
- Perfect lumen uniformity
- Improved hemodynamics
- Reduces thrombus formation

Vein graft failure
Vein graft disease after CABG is typically dominated by intimal hyperplasia, which predisposes the graft to accelerated atherosclerosis. Arterial pressure, coupled with abnormal flow patterns generated mainly by luminal irregularities, is the main contributor to both focal and diffuse intimal hyperplasia.

Minutes to implant
VEST™ takes only a few minutes to implant and requires a minimal learning curve.
- Minutes to implant without affecting grafting technique
- No vein graft manipulation after harvesting
- In situ adjustability to optimize alignment with the vein graft
- No need for fixation by either glue or sutures
