Burrow burs are manufactured by Coba Biomedical, an African healthcare manufacturer, and distributed exclusively in South Africa by Kingfisher Medical. Each bur is a sterile, single-use rotary cutting device: a high-grade steel shaft with a fluted or diamond cutting head that fits a powered handpiece to excavate and shape bone in small and large bone surgery, including neurosurgical, spinal, maxillofacial and orthopedic procedures.
