Automatic stop.

A mechanical stop disengages the cutter once the skull is penetrated, sparing the dura.

Clean burr holes.

A sharp cutting edge gives smooth entry with less pressure, heat and trauma.

Fits your motor.

Compatible with most standard surgical drills and systems.

Confidence at the first cut.

For patients undergoing cranial procedures, healing begins with a single opening that must be made with absolute accuracy, care and control. The Evonos evoDrill cranial perforator makes that moment safer and more consistent: a smooth, round burr hole, controlled pressure, and a mechanism that helps prevent accidental plunging.

Precision-controlled cranial access

Evonos perforators make a smooth, round burr hole with controlled pressure. The stop mechanism helps prevent accidental plunging, even in delicate procedures.

Automatic safety stop

Each perforator is equipped with a mechanical stop that disengages the cutting action once the skull is penetrated. This dramatically reduces the risk of injury to the dura or brain tissue, making safety an integral part of every procedure.

Ergonomic design

With a comfortable grip and intuitive handling, Evonos perforators allow accurate control and reduced fatigue during long procedures. They are balanced and slim, so they sit comfortably in the surgeon's hand.

Sharpness and cutting efficiency

The cutting edge meets little resistance and enters the skull bone smoothly, so less pressure is needed. Evonos offers both single-use and reusable perforators to suit different clinical needs; Kingfisher stocks the single-use evoDrill in three sizes.

How it works

  • Controlled entry: the outer drill bores through the skull while the inner drill follows at a delayed depth, engaging only when the outer drill has completed its cut.
  • Automatic stop: once the cranial bone is fully penetrated the inner drill disengages immediately, preventing further forward motion and avoiding dural or cortical damage.
  • Clean burr hole: the sharp cutting edge and smooth action mean less heat and less bone trauma.
