Cranial plates are part of a neurofixation system used to close skull fractures and trepanation holes and to reattach bone flaps after surgery for brain injuries, tumors and abscesses. Titanium-grade construction gives biocompatibility, corrosion resistance and reliable long-term fixation, while low-profile plates and flat screw heads leave a surface that is only minimally palpable, for an excellent cosmetic result.
Low profile, high performance
Plates are 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm thick, balancing contourability with strength. The low-profile plates allow fixation matched to the bone contour in cranial regions with little soft-tissue coverage. The screw heads are very flat and can be sunk completely into the plate, so the surface created is only minimally palpable.
